Terms of Service

1. The Service

Intake Plan helps people, including people managing kidney conditions, record what they eat and drink, estimate nutrition (sodium, protein, potassium and more) against personal targets, keep related health records, and share foods and plans with friends.

2. Not medical advice

Nutrition values produced by AI are estimates and may be wrong. The Service and its content are for reference only and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always follow your doctor or dietitian, especially for sodium, potassium, phosphorus, protein, fluid and medication decisions. Do not delay or ignore professional advice because of something in the app.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the information you give us accurate. You can delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is permanent.

4. Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of the content you submit (photos, food entries, recipes, nicknames and so on). You give us the permission needed to store, process and display it to run the Service, including showing foods you add to the public library to other users.

You are responsible for what you submit. You must not submit content that is offensive, hateful, harassing, sexual, false or misleading, spam, unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and you must not use the Service to harm others or to attack or overload it.

5. Reporting, blocking and removal

You can report a public food library entry and block users in the app. Reported content is hidden for the reporter immediately; content reported by several different users is taken down for everyone pending review. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these Terms. Blocking a user hides their contributions from you and ends any friend connection with them.

6. Free use and subscriptions

New accounts include a limited number of free AI uses. Unlimited AI use requires a paid subscription purchased through Apple, which is billed, renewed and refunded under Apple’s terms. We may change the free allowance or prices for future periods.

7. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. What happens to your data on deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of AI estimates and uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any harm arising from relying on nutrition estimates instead of professional medical advice. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after that means you accept it.
